Poem- My Fingertips Are Tender

Running my fingers through my hair.
Caressing the flower I placed there.
Spinning the CD around my index.
Adjusting the necklace around someone else’s neck.
My fingertips are warm.

Picking up broken glass.
Massaging the stress out of my own back.
Wrapping my hands around a cup of wine.
Interlacing my digits with a hand that is mine.
My fingertips are cold.

Typing away, I’m a keyboard slave.
Pointing out the pretty princes and the slimy knaves.
Massaging my eyes, waiting for the end of the day.
Tapping on a desk that binds me to all work, no play.

It's pretty hard to pick a lyric out of a song that basically sums you up in 3min30sec but if I had to choose the one that stood out it would be:
"Oh oh I want some more, oh oh what are you waiting for, take a bite of my heart tonight."

I have an addiction to caring about people. Audrey Hepburn said "I was born with an enormous need for affection, and a terrible need to give it.”  That statement is me in a nutshell. I want someone to just leap out and care about me, and nothing would make me happier than to care for them.
 I'd say I'm 20% lust and 80% affection.What about you?

Now I don't know if it was a play on words or what, but the word "price "stood" out.
How willing are you to let a person occupy your thoughts?
I know I leave people in my head for a loooonnng time and it screws with me daily.
I'm a daydream enthusiast and a fantasy connoisseur and I tend to zone out thinking about that certain somebody...sometimes while I'm driving lol.

But the reality is that I think and dream and pine after somebody...but have a problem talking to them. And sometimes I'm just content with having them live in that little spot in my head.

I'm sensing a pattern
Someone turn me into the ultimate risk-taker.

Actually, I'd rather sky dive than talk to someone I care for.

Ahhh that feeling when things are as bad as they could get but you laugh a little because it's always possible for things to look up.

That kind of mentality is what makes the strongest people. It's the will to fight through the worst situation and see the light that helps us live.

Personally, my Ipod couldn't have picked a better song for me, especially for this week.
I don't have OCD, I have methodical paranoia.

As humans we obsesses over the littlest things like checking the fridge light or ritualistically doing certain things in the shower like washing our bodies before our face, and if we do the opposite, it's going to be a bad day.

We get so stuck in our microscopic ruts that we become prisoners or INMATES in our own little box of boring step-by-step living.

I'm in danger of slipping into a rut and I'm only 21.
